The Rotary Club of Weslaco hosted an event Honoring our Veterans who made a selfless decision to serve our country. Today we gathered at Bobby Lackey Stadium in Weslaco, Texas to honor our soldiers who returned home and to our fallen soldiers who didn’t make it home. We honor our Golden family members who lost a loved one in the line of duty.
Payne Auto Group is proud to honor all of Veterans serve across all branches of the military Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard. We feel even more honored to honor those right here in the Rio Grande Valley. As we all gathered together Weslaco ISD created very special performances from Cleckler-Heald Elementary Choir, Weslaco High School Panther Corps, Weslaco ISD ROTC Students and more.
This year’s guest speaker Major General Garza from Los Fresnos, TX visited us and reminded us what it means to serve our country. Covering a wide range of heroism, discipline, courage, respect and more, showing us that when our troops are taken overseas we must do our part as a country and train our future troops.
