Payne Rio Grande City Ford and Payne Rio Grande City Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM proudly welcomed a very special initiative to the dealership: Bears for Badges, a heartfelt program created to bring comfort to children during difficult moments.
In partnership with iHeart Media, the Payne Auto Group launched this program to provide teddy bears to police departments across the Rio Grande Valley. These bears are carried in patrol vehicles and offered to children who may be facing stressful or traumatic experiences. It’s a simple gesture that can make a world of difference.
We were honored to have Chris Marshall from the Payne Street Team and General Manager Roland Zamora present as we officially welcomed the Rio Grande City Police Department into the program. Officers from the department graciously accepted the donation, recognizing the positive impact these bears will have during patrol interactions with young children.
