A.N. Tony Rico Elementary invited Payne Auto Group to be a part in World Read Aloud Day for it’s students. World Read Aloud Day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read-aloud! This day is celebrated annually in over 173 countries and is all about bringing people together through the shared connection of reading aloud in all of our communities.
A.N. Tony Rico Elementary motivates their students to read 25-30 minutes a day to helps children learn to make sense not only of the world around them but also people, building social-emotional skills and of course, imagination. Encouraging students to reading exposes them to other styles, other voices and other forms of writing styles.
